Well, it’s there!
Am just starting Anne Rice’s The Wolf Gift; we’ve read almost all her vampire, ghost, whatever novels-even several about the life of Jesus, from a first person point of view. Â Little shift, but then philosophy and religion have always played a part in her works.
To those of us who enjoy manipulating words for whatever purpose we choose, reading different styles is important. I’ve read novels I didn’t enjoy, but I appreciated and learned from the styles. Try writing a part of one of your novels using the styles of many different authors and genres. Follow the exact word order-same phrases, clauses, punctuation. You will be astounded with the results! Rhythm and pacing take on a whole new meaning.
” It was the best of times; it was the worst of times…” Apologies to Dickens, if necessary! Have fun.

Is this the cover for the 1st book? If so, it looks great. I’m proud of you for the work that you have done and am looking forward to reading the rest. It is so easy to get absorbed in your books. My surroundings disappear and I feel that I am right beside your characters.
